I may have a Vagina

but that does NOT mean that I am incompetent.
I absolutely hate when males look at a woman as though she has no idea what she's talking about and has lost her mind - when it is quite possible for a woman to know what she wants done with her car.

I went in to have my tires replaced at a location I will leave undisclosed. I told the guy that I wanted the two tires on the passenger side replaced, but put on the front. He looked at me like he had absolutely no idea what I was saying. (Let's pretend that my dad wasn't the one who told me to do that.) Apparently I wasn't speaking English.... or so it seemed by his expression. He was all sorts of confused and then told the technician that he would have to explain what to do with my car. I told the technician I wanted the two passenger tires replaced, but put on the front. Well - at least HE understood. Which is good cuz he was the one working on the car. And then the first guy told me that the tires would be $XX, which was over $10 more than I had been told on the phone. I explained that to him - and then he was all sorts of confused/upset. He then looked through what he had, said the cheapest tires were $XX, which was only a few dollars more than I was told. Why he couldn't have just told me that to begin with, I have no idea....

And this isn't just at auto repair places. It's at pretty much anything auto, outdoor, or otherwise assumed a 'manly' interest. Especially car salesmen... Do you want me to buy a car? Then treat me with respect, not like I'm an idiot who knows nothing.
Just because I have a vagina does not mean I don't know anything about 'manly' things as well.
